Artist Talk with Gay Fad Studios: Art in Spirits

November 7 | 5–7pm | Soul at The Joseph

Join us at Soul at The Joseph for an evening of art, cocktails and conversation celebrating Gay Fad Studios and the inspiration behind our fall cocktail menu, Art in Spirits.

Art in Spirits is a collaboration between Soul and three Ohio artists: Gay Fad Studios, Joseph Leonard and Joss Ford. Each featured cocktail is inspired by an artist’s work, bringing their perspective to life through flavor, color, composition and the creativity of Soul’s bar team.

For this special evening, guests are invited to go beyond the cocktail and experience the story behind the glass.

About Gay Fad Studios

Founded by artist and entrepreneur Fran Taylor in 1939 and later based in Lancaster, Ohio, Gay Fad Studios became known for transforming everyday glassware through vibrant, hand-decorated designs. Today, Jason and David Annecy are bringing the historic brand into a new era while celebrating its colorful legacy and Ohio roots.

During the evening, guests will hear more about the history of Gay Fad Studios, the creative revival of the brand and how its distinctive designs helped inspire the Art in Spirits menu.

Connect with the team behind Gay Fad Studios, discover the art and history that inspired the collaboration and enjoy cocktails that bring those ideas to life in the glass.
